About Us

The More Paper website was originally launched in October 2020. The owner decided to take the website offline, due to the small amount of orders that were coming through. He continued selling his clothing on Depop and through social media sites like Instagram and Snapchat. Thankfully, he has had a lot of success selling through these avenues. In May 2021, he released the 'Essential' design and his volume of orders skyrocketed. He saw this as the perfect time to relaunch the More Paper website.

Thankfully, the volume of monthly orders continued to increase, turning his hobby into a full time job. Unfortunately, there was something looming over the success of his clothing company, as the owner was due to face a trial at Lewes Crown Court, to fight charges of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs over a period of 17 months. After a long 5 week trial, he was found guilty on the 30th of November 2021. The Crown placed the offending in Category 2, due to the estimation of the weight of drugs dealt over a period of 120 days, which was 2,314 grams (2.3kg) of Crack Cocaine and Heroin, with a street value of £231,400. This provided a starting point of 8 years imprisonment, with a range of 6.5-10 years. His honour, Judge Rennie, said "*** ****** is a very extraordinary young man and clearly a very intelligent young man. How he went from supplying drugs to owning his own clothing business is amazing. However, I can't ignore the fact that he has been found guilty of a very serious offence".

The owner was sentenced to 5 years imprisonment—3 years below the starting point for his offence. He was sent to HMP Lewes.

The owner maintains his not guilty plea and is appealing his conviction. The 22 year old started a law degree at Open University to help fight his unfair trial. He currently resides in HMP Rochester and continues to promote an anti-drug dealing message through some of his designs. The owner didn't plan to make his imprisonment public; he planned on working towards open conditions, where he would have been given home visits to create new designs for the business. Due to recent events, he believes it is necessary to inform More Paper customers, as there may not be new designs released at a rate that he deems acceptable.

Recently, he has been denied a move to open conditions, due to one particular reason. The prison has said that he is not suitable for open conditions because he is "running his clothing business from prison". He has hired solicitors to appeal this decision, because there is nothing wrong with having a business in prison. If somehow this decision is upheld, he would like to apologise in advance for the lack of designs that will be released in the future.

Before he was convicted,  he made various designs to release over time, in case he was found guilty. So, there are tons of designs to be released, but not as many as the owner had hoped, which is why he would like to apologise. He would also like to add that while he has been in prison, he has been creating many designs and has even released some designs that has made in prison, such as the 'Application' design, the 'Pablo' design and others. The second he gets the chance to release the designs he has created in his notepad, he will. Whether that is when he gets to an open prison, his conviction is overturned, or when he is released on the 30th of May 2024. He promises you that he has a lot to come.
